In Biomedical Digital Libraries journal, I have read an interesting paper which proposes unique identifiers for the authors of publications in Biomedicine.
This need comes from the growing amount of scientific publications, and the ever increasing difficult task of identifying the authors of those works.

Yesterday, while I was strolling in Barcelona I took some photos of how an egg balloon was being hanged in the arm of Colon statue.

After quite a long time, I have rediscovered GeoURL. This is a sevice that allows to find web sites that are near a given geographic location.
After redesign of the web, which now also includes a blog, a Firefox extension has been created for looking up which sites are near the web page you are visiting.
